Scr-Apple Pie | This Is Why I’m Full
I think that this apple pie might be one of my best inventions… I mean really, it’s amazing! So I’m sure you know how it goes, you are making pies for the holidays and you finish all of your pies and have those leftover scraps that you would normally toss! Little pieces of pie crust and leftover apple filling that you can’t do anything with, but as my Grandma says, waste not want not! Instead of tossing those scraps into the trash take them and put them into a pan and bake them!
Do you want to know what the best part of this Scr-Apple Pie is? You don’t have to wait until whichever occasion/holiday you made the other pies for! You can eat it whenever you want! Yummy!
The hubby and I hosted Thanksgiving this year, and I was planning on making an Apple pie, but his sister did instead, so we already had the ingredients to make an apple pie, but didn’t make one, so we decided to try making some Apple Pie Cookies (those turned out delicious, keep an eye out for that recipe!) and the leftover scraps from those cookies became our Scr-Apple Pie!
