Here’s a delicious spin on French Toast. Rolling them up with PBJ and some cream cheese is simply delicious! Extra sugar and cinnamon for me please. You can make more than 8 slices of bread for this recipe, just make lots of cinnamon sugar to coat them with. I eat lots of these when ever I make them. My fiancee and I have a system and we crank these bad boys out like a factory. Dousing them in maple syrup is a bit of a sugar overload but hey, it’s breakfast you’re supposed to eat a lot of food with a lot of calories to get through the day right?
These are especially great with coffee, or maybe milk if you want to be health conscious. The perfect breakfast roll up (sorry fruit roll ups!)
MY beautiful fianwife ce had the interesting idea to put some Nutella in these, and since she hates peanut butter it was a great idea. And honestly, I’m not joking when I say they were amazing! We put about a teaspoon of Nutella and a teaspoon of cream cheese in each them and it was amazing, we will probably make these weekly! They only took about 5 minutes to prep and 15 to cook all of them (I kept letting the pan get too hot!) But anyway, they were amazing… ALSO we found that the colder the bread was the easier it was to roll them up! We also found that when you’re rolling them, if you get the bread flat enough, they stay together best if you pinch the flap together with the side of the bread! We also didn’t use the cinnamon and sugar, or syrup, because they were sweet enough without those things!
We made these again, and put jalapeno cream cheese and small pieces of bacon and it was fantastic! We are going to post these as another recipe! Calling them Poor Man’s Jalapeno Poppers!

Everyone has a family recipe for Chocolate chip cookies. How about peanut butter? I used to make these all the time with my parents. Some of my fondest childhood moments were sitting in the kitchen helping my mother make some cookies. She would let me lick the spoons and if I was really helpful let me have cookies right out of the oven. Those moments would have to be the most well behaved I’ve been as a child, because these cookies are delicious, and when they’re warm you will want to eat the entire batch before they have a chance to cool off.
If my mom left me alone in the kitchen with them she undoubtedly came back to only half a batch of cookies as I would eat as many as I could before she came back. But I was cute, so I was never scolded we just made another batch of cookies to account for what I had eaten. When I eventually have kids of my own I think I will make these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies with them!
If you have kids, this is a great recipe to create some amazing memories that they will hold onto for the rest of their lives.
