Cheesy Garlic Knots
quick rise yeast
cups all purpose flour
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Add water, yeast, and sugar to a mixing bowl.
Stir and then let proof for about 5 minutes.
Add salt, honey, and about 2.5 cups of flour.
Mix by hand.
Add remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until dough doesn’t stick to your hands.
Form until a ball and knead several times
Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise at least 30 minutes. (The longer it rises, the better.)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Sprinkle a small amount of cornmeal on your pan or pizza stone
Form knots on top of the corn meal
Bake knots for 10 minutes and then add garlic and cheese
Bake until golden brown
